I do not have a lithium system installed in my Insights, even though I have all the parts to build several, because I condition my own NiMH packs, and have gotten pretty good at it. A good NiMH pack in a good engine is glorious to drive.
So why did I BUY a pack if I can condition my own?
Because this is going into one of my kids' Insights, one who has been suffering a dead pack and who is too far away to help with conditioning.
